Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Budapest
Arrival to Budapest, individual transfer to the hotel. In the evening we meet our guide.

Day 2: Guided Tour Budapest, Boat Trip with a culinary Dinner
Grand city tour – by bus and walking. A bus tour will bring us to all important sights in the city. Of course, there are areas, where we have to walk – like the castle area. Marvellous views to Budapest will be offered. The tour will finish close to the market hall where you can have a good choice of typical hungarian meals. In the afternoon there will be enough time to get acquainted with this marvellous city by your own.
In the evening we will see the city from a different perspective – during our boat trip. The dinner on the boat and the view of illuminated bridges and the city is a breathtaking experience.

Day 3: Visit of Carnuntum, Orientation Tour Bratislava, Transfer 235 km
We leave Budapest in the morning and head to Carnuntum – an amazing open air museum where ancient Rome rises from the ashes. Then a short ride to Bratislava. First we stop on the castle hill and then will have free time in the historical centre.

Day 4: Guided Tour Banska Stiavnica – UNESCO Site, Transfer 170 km
We move from the capital city to central Slovakia where we will find a small, picturesque Middle Age town of Banska Stiavnica known mainly for its rich mining history. Our first stop will be the lake Pocuvadlo – the so-called tajch (pronounced as taikh). There are many tajchy around the town – this is the biggest one.We will learn about their connection to Banska Stiavnica during the tour. Then we will check out the center and have some free time in this admirable town, which was once among the most important mining cities of the Austro-Hungarian empire. Then we move to our small hotel in the nearby village, which will take us back a few centuries.

Day 5: Visit of Lestiny Church – UNESCO Site, Orava Castle, Transfer 125 km
Today we continue to the North. First we will visit an amazing wooden church in Lestiny. Why it is a UNESCO listed monument we will learn during the sightseeing tour. From there we will set off to one of the most admirable castles in Slovakia – Orava castle. Did you know that the first vampire movie Nosferatu, Symphony Of Horror was shot here in 1922?

Day 6: Guided Tour Wieliczka, Krakow – UNESCO Sites and Treasures of Poland, Transfer 160 km
Before we reach Krakow we will stop at a unique salt mine Wieliczka. It is so beautiful that it has been included on the UNESCO Heritage list. We will see all that beauty with our own eyes. We will also have our lunch in an extraordinary restaurant in the underground. From the mine we move back to the surface and to Krakow.

Day 7: Guided Tour Krakow, the Royal City of Poland
During today’s city tour we will be closely introduced to the magical city of Krakow. The bus drives us around the city; the centre, however, is accessible on foot only. The crown jewel of the Krakow architecture – the Wawel castle incl. the Wawel Cathedral, tightly connected with John Paull II – reminds us of its royal history. After the tour we will have free time to hunt for lunch and explore Krakow individually.

Weather
Weather at this time of year is usually warm and sunny, up to 30° C or even more. However, it can also be rainy and the temperatures can go down to about 15° C exceptionally. Though, you mostly need summer cloths, we recommend to bring a jacket or an anorak, too.
Health requirements
The tour is not very demanding in terms of physical requirements or health conditions. However, please take in account that city sightseeings can require 2 – 3 hours of walking, exceptionally longer.
Visa
The countries you are going to travel are part of the Schengen zone. It means you only need single visa (if needed at all) to enter the Schengen zone. It is responsibility of the customer to find out if he/she needs visa to enter Schengen zone. Should you need any help, pls. feel free to contact us.
Payment Information
