Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Prague

Arrival to Prague, individual transfer to the hotel.
Meeting with your guide in the evening.

Day 2: Guided Tour Prague

Full day guided sightseeing tour of Prague. We will visit the castle area and the Little Quarter (Mala strana), cross the 14th century Charles Bridge to the Old Town Square with the famous astronomical clock and continue further to Wenceslas square, Prague’s most vibrant and dynamic areas.
In the afternoon we will have time to rest or discover the beauties of the city on your own.

Day 3: Cesky Krumlov, Visit of the Budwar Brewery, Transfer 180 km

Today we will move to the south. Our first stop will be at a small, but incredibly charming historical town of Cesky Krumlov, which was founded at the beginning of the 14th century. After individual lunch we will meet again and explore this admirable small town. Afterwards, we will pay a visit to a brewery in Ceske Budejovice – the mother of the popular Budweiser. Beer tasting included!

Day 4: Guided Tour Salzburg, Transfer 230 km

Transfer to Austria. We will visit Salzburg, one of the most significant Austrian cities. During the sightseeing tour we will see all important historical monuments including the birth house of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.  Old Town of Salzburg combines Mediaeval and Baroque buildings into an ensemble that is dominated by the Salzburg castle, the fortress Hohensalzburg.The Old Town′s skyline is characterised by the spires and cupolas of the many churches of Salzburg, the narrow lanes and small squares of the Old Town by the colourful Baroque facades of the burgher houses on both sides of the Salzach river.

Day 5: Berchtesgaden - Visit of Hitler´s Bunker and Eagle´s Nest, Transfer 70 km

From peaceful Salzburg our steps will lead to Berchtesgaden – the second seat of the Nazi German government from 1933 onwards.  This place offers an unusual insight into the infamous Hitler’s Reich. First we will visit the underground bunker system and from there we will reach high for the sky at Hitler’s tea house Eagle’s Nest at the altitude of 1834 m a.s.l.

Day 6: Hallstatt, Visit of Ossuary, Boat Trip, Transfer to Slovenia

Hallstatt is the crown beauty of Austria. A place so breathtaking that the Chinese even created their own replica of it in China!
The most interesting sight in Hallstatt is  the charnel house. After visiting it  we will have time to grab some lunch and later we will take a boat trip on the lake and indulge in the view of the magnificent Alps.  Later we will set off to Slovenia.

Day 7: Lake Bled, Boat Trip, Transfer to Plitvice Lakes 260 km

Another day, another lake trip! We will start the day with a boat trip to the romantic island in the middle of the Bled lake. In Bled we will have enough time for lunch and then we will head for the marvellous Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is by the way also a UNESCO site.

Day 8: Plitvice Lakes, Transfer to Graz 307 km

We will spend the morning wandering around the most stuning natural sight of Croatia – the Plitvice lakes. After group lunch we will bid our farewell to Croatia and head back to Austria, to the city of Graz. We will arrive in the late afternoon and once we check in at the hotel you will have enough time to explore the city and rest.

Day 9: Graz - Ride to Schlossberg, Guided Tour Wien, Transfer 200 km

In the morning we will take a lift to Schlossberg and enjoy the view of the city. Later on we will have some time to explore the historic centre on our own. After lunch we will continue to the world-famous metropolis of Austria. Vienna awaits us with its palaces, gardens and historical buildings. The sightseeing tour  will take us for a stroll around Hofburg, the former royal seat of the Habsburg dynasty, as well as the Parliament building and the Town Hall.

Day 10: VIENNA - Visit of Schönbrunn Palace, Transfer to Bratislava 70 km

We will kick off the morning by visiting the “summer chalet” of the Habsburg family – the Schoenbrunn Palace and we will not leave out its massive gardens. 
Later we will move to another European capital – Bratislava, Slovakia. We will have some free time in the historical city centre and then we will head to our hotel. After a short rest we will take you out for dinner in the TV tower located on the top of Lesser Carpathian mountains. The dinner here isn’t the only feast here – the phenomenal views of Bratislava and the nature around it are also a feast for the eyes.

Day 11: Budapest, Transfer 205 km

Our last stop is Budapest – the Pearl on the Danube. The guided sightseeing tour will lead us through both sides of the city: Buda and Pest (hence Budapest, how original, right?). We will not omit the castle incl. the famous Fisherman’s Bastion, the Parliament building, Chain bridge and the Shoes on the Danube Bank commemorating the Jews massacred by the militia during WWII. After the guided tour we will have some free time to experience Budapest individually.

Weather

Weather is usually warm at  this time of year – about 30° C and more especially in Croatia. However, rain can surprise you anytime in Europe. We recommend to bring a jacket or an anorak, too. 

Health requirements

The tour is not very demanding in terms of physical requirements or health conditions. However, please take in account that city sightseeings can require 2 – 3 hours of walking, exceptionally longer.

Visa

The countries you are going to travel are part of the Schengen zone. It means you only need single visa (if needed at all) to enter the Schengen zone. It is responsibility of the customer to find out if he/she needs visa to enter Schengen zone. Should you need any help, pls. feel free to contact us.

Payment Information

The price of the tour is payable in one instalment to be paid latest 60 days prior to the departure. This instalment also includes the Non-refundable Booking Fee in the amount of 180 EUR. Further information on payment and cancellation conditions can be found in the General Terms and Conditions.
