Vlkolínec (“wolf`s village”) is situated in the beautiful mountains of northern Slovakia. It is an intact settlement of 45 buildings in the traditional style of a mountain village built almost 200 years ago. The oldest building is probably the belfry, which has been dated to 1770. It is a still living village, with a unique atmosphere and the traditional Slovak hospitality. At the small village pub you can taste the traditional sauerkraut cake and have a cup of tea or coffee.
