Historical centre of Vienna

Former Celtic and Roman settlements - now one of the most famous cities in the world. From the ancient villages it transformed into a Medieval and Baroque city, the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. This city evolved into a city of arts and played essential role as a leading European music centre, from the age of unforgettable Viennese Classicism through the early 20th century. Still nowadays Vienna is full of event of all kinds, every day there is something on in Vienna. 

The historic centre is rich in architectural ensembles, Baroque castles and beautiful gardens. The street richest in historical monument is Ringstrasse, lined with grand buildings, monuments and parks. To the highlights of Vienna sightseeing belong gothic cathedral Stephansdom, the symbol of Vienna, Hofburg - royal seat of the Habsburg family, Parliament, the City Hall,  State Opera House,  Holly  Trinity Column, Belvedere Palace.

Contemporary architecture is well represented by one of the most famous architect Friedensreich Regentag Dunkelbunt Hundertwasser. A  visit to Hunderwasser house gives us an insight to the artistic feeling of this extraordinary artist.
